50 years of creative work of Gulnara Saitova

In February in Almaty on the stage of the State Republican Academic Uyghur Theater of Musical Comedy named after Kuddy Kujamyarov a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the creative work of Gulnara Saitova was held. Kuddus Kujamyarov held a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Gulnara Saitova’s creative work. In addition, this evening was marked the anniversary of the ensemble “Ruhsara” created by the Gulnara Saitova – the creative team this year celebrates the 30th anniversary.

To congratulate Gulnara Saitova and the “Rukhsara” ensemble came colleagues from the State Academic Dance Theater, the Republican State Academic Korean Theater, the State Dance Ensemble “Saltanat”, Zhurgenov KazNAI, KazNTOB named after Abay, “Astana Ballet” Theater, “Tajnisa” ensemble, “Samruk” Modern Dance Theater, students, pupils of the artist and others.

“I have come here today to congratulate my teacher. I have been receiving knowledge from Gulnara Yusupovna since I was four years old and whatever heights I have reached today, there is a merit of my teacher in everything”, said honored figure of Kazakhstan Mukaram Abubakhrieva.

Gulnara Saitova is a teacher at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, an Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a choreographer, a teacher, a director, who devoted her labor path to the development of Uyghur dance and dances of the peoples of the East. Candidate of Art History, professor, the best teacher of the CIS (2022), founder of the “Rukhsara” ensemble.

“Rukhsara” is the only professional Uyghur dance ensemble in the republic; it was founded in 1993. Over three decades of its existence the ensemble has created a rich gallery of magnificent dances and achieved great success as a prize-winner in many international contests and festivals. The audience loved the bright concert programs of the ensemble: “Silk Road”, “Awakening of 1000 caves”, “Call of the Harsh”, “Magic World of Dance”, “The wind of the native land”, “Dance – my life” and many others.

Congratulations to Gulnara Yusupovna and colleagues from the “Rukhsara” ensemble! Your contribution to the development of choreographic art of our multinational homeland is invaluable. We wish each member of the team happiness and prosperity, the ensemble – creative longevity, loud premieres and grateful audience!
