Aigul Kulbekova took part in the international symposium at the Baku Choreography Academy

Between the 29th of April and the 1st of May of 2023, the professor of the Academy, Aigul Kulbekova, took part in the II International Symposium called “Current Problems of the Choreographic Art,” dedicated to International Dance Day. The Baku Choreography Academy organized the event as part of the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of Azerbaijan.

Guests from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Bulgaria, Russia, and Oman acted as speakers at the international symposium.

“During the conference and from communication with the teachers of the Baku Academy, I concluded that we have common problems regarding the educational process organization, and professional issues to improve educational programs that we can solve and strive to implement together via closely interacting with each other.

Listening to the speeches of Azerbaijani scientists was interesting. Choreographic art and its pedagogy are in dire need of scientific understanding today. Such events are necessary for the creative growth of both students and faculty,” noted Professor Kulbekova.

At the end of the two-day international event, the Baku Choreography Academy awarded the participants who made presentations with certificates.
