An open lesson in acting and directing was held by teachers from the academy

On November 10, 2022 Art faculty teachers Gulnara Saitova and Bulat Abdrakhmanov conducted an open lesson on the discipline “Acting and Directing Issues” with the 1st year students of the Art Studies major.

The goal of the open lesson was to give the students practical knowledge as well as understanding of the stage process for theoretical analysis in Art History.

During the class the commission was presented an episode from N. Gogol’s comedy “The Inspector General”. Roles in this episode were performed by students Gulnur Imantai, Aida Serik and Nurkeldy Amanzhol. The director was academy teacher Bulat Abdrakhmanov. So students in practice got acquainted with a theme of a lesson – “Creative union of the director-producer and the actor”.

At the end of the lesson, the committee gave a positive assessment and comments.
