Charity Festival “Melodies of Magic”

On December 7, the Kazakhstan Central Concert Hall hosted the annual charity festival “Melodies of Magic”. This charity project was created on the initiative of Dariga Nazarbayeva. The organizer of the festival is the “Degdar” Humanitarian Fund in conjunction with the Kazakh Concert State Concert Organization. As part of the festival, donations are collected for orphanages in rural areas. At the event in support of children, popular arias from operettas and musicals were performed. The real decoration of this evening was the performance of Dariga Nursultanovna, Astana Opera soloists and young artists of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.

This year, assistance will be provided to four orphanages in rural areas: a kindergarten-boarding school in the Akmola region, orphanage No. 8 in the East Kazakhstan region, the Litvin boarding school for orphans and children without parental care , in the Karaganda region and the Rudny specialized children’s home for children with organic lesions of the central nervous system and mental disorders in the Kostanay region.
