Coworking Space – an area for joint creativity of students opened at the Academy

On February 10, the Coworking Space was inaugurated in the academic building of the Academy of Choreography. The event was organized by the students of the Faculty of Arts and the Department of Educational Work and Social Issues.

Coworking Space – an area designed for discussion and implementation of joint educational and creative projects of students.

The honorary right to cut the red ribbon and open the Coworking Space was granted to Astana Ballet soloist Tatiana Ten and doctoral student of the Academy Askar Mirzayev.

“At one time, as students, we wanted to have such a platform where we could discuss ideas, creative ideas, projects. I am very happy for you, dear students, that now you have such a place where you can cooperate, and just communicate during the breaks. Congratulations!”, – said Askar Mirzayev.

In addition, during the event there was an exhibition of paintings created by students of the academy, “The Smell of Art”. The peculiarity of this exhibition is that you can not only look at the paintings, but also find out what the artists’ ideas smell like. Diplomas of participants and sweet gifts were handed to the participants of the exhibition. There was also a quiz among the guests of the event – prizes were awarded to those who guessed the works of famous painters on the proposed smell.
