Creative evening for the 110th anniversary of Shara Zhienkulova was held at the Academy

In April 2022 the pupils of 5-9 classes of vocational school and 1-2 courses of the college held a creative evening “Shara Zhienkulova – queen of the Kazakh art of dance”, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the People’s Artist of the Kazakh SSR Shara Zhiyenkulova. During the event were presented biographical information, materials about the creative and pedagogical activities, archival photos and video footage of the talented dancer and teacher. Academy students recited poems about their love for the art of dance. The ornament of the evening was the Kazakh dance “Nazik”, performed by a group of second-year students of a specialty “Dance Ensemble Artist” and a solo Kazakh dance performed by Kamila Boranbayeva, a third-year student of a specialty “Dance Ensemble Artist”.

Alila Alisheva, the director for educational work and social development of the Academy Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, also took part in the event. She told about years of study and interesting facts from life of the talented dancer.
