Creative laboratory – collaboration and potential of creative people
On April 16, 2020, the next event of the IV Intra-University Science Week dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abay Kunanbaev took place: the online section of the OnLab creative laboratory and the scientific and methodological laboratory of the Kazakh national dance, “Timeline – Time Tape”. I want to note that despite the quarantine, our teachers and students take an active part in all activities! The section featured the work of students, MA and PhD students.
The first-year PhD student Samal Bakirova (scientific adviser: the Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR, candidate of History of Arts, professor T.Izim) dedicated her research to the contribution of People’s Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Z.A. Kasteyeva in the development of system of choreographic education.
The listeners were interested in the report of a first-year graduate student Asel Abutalipova who examined the work of master of Uyghur choreographic art, Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulnara Yusupovna Saitova, paying particular attention to the performance of the “Tanovar” dance. The special disposition to this speech is not surprising – Gulnara Yusupovna is a professor of our Academy!
The audience also liked the report of the first-year undergraduate student Erkezhan Kabdullina (scientific adviser: Ph.D., professor A.Kulbekova) who focused the research on the teaching path of Aigul Abikenovna Tati, on her contribution to the development and popularization of national dance, innovative techniques in teaching the Kazakh dance.
The audience with deep interest listened to the report of undergraduate of the 1st year of study Azhar Akylbekova (scientific adviser: T. Izim). The interest of listeners as well as an excitement of reporter are predictable, since the report is dedicated to the career of Nurlan Kanetov – an Honored Artist of Russia and Tatarstan, laureate of the State Prize of Russia and the “Soul of Dance” Prize, and now he is a dean of the Faculty of Choreography of our Academy. The speaker focused on the creative activity of Nurlan Kanetov, the leading soloist of the Musa Jalil State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.
