Fairytale characters wished the academy students a Happy New Year

December 30 in the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography held a matinee – the New Year tree for the pupils of the school-college of vocational education.

The matinee was organized by the department of educational work and social issues of the Academy and the Committee on Youth Affairs.

At the fir-tree the children enjoyed a merry show with the characters from the well-known fairy tales and popular cartoons. For example, Santa Claus, The Snow Maiden, the Tiger and the Hare, the symbols of the outgoing and the new year, Maleficent, Aladdin and Elsa came to greet the children while two merry friends Timon and Pumbaa guided the New Year tree. All the characters were played by undergraduate students, students of the Academy.

In addition, during the festive event, the children took part in a flash mob – performed a dance.
