Final Performance of “Nutcracker”

From December 22 to January 9, the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography together with Astana Ballet Theater has successfully presented the fairy tale ballet “The Nutcracker” to the public. And today a thunder of ovations of this wonderful performance has been finished with a great applause.

The performance has been performed by 214 students of our Academy and it brings a constant feeling of pride, admiration and deep respect for their daily rehearsals and hard work. This is a great stage experience that allowed our future ballet dancers to stand on a higher level of professionalism and to feel the spirit behind the scenes – the real “taste” of the scene.

On New Year’s Eve and holidays our pupils has presented the audience a winter fairy tale: during 15 days, the New Year atmosphere of the theater and the ballet extravaganza “Nutcracker” left no one indifferent.

During the performance students of our Academy has performed children’s scenes of the first and second acts, an enchanting dance of snowflakes, bright dances of puppets from the divertissement, and students of the Academy tried their hand at leading roles of Masha and Prince along with the leading artists of Astana Ballet Theater.

Thank you so much for the festive and exciting atmosphere, for creating for us the magic mood that both adults and children are waiting for on the New Year, where everything impossible for a moment becomes possible!
