Great performance on the stage of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Uzbekistan
On November 5, 2019, the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography presented a gala concert to the grateful Tashkent public as part of the Year of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan.
A concert program at the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi with the participation of students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography had a full house. A saturated concert included choreographic performances recognized as the pearls of world classical ballet, and modern productions of Kazakhstan and foreign choreographers.
The concert program included the Pink Waltz and the Chinese dance from the ballet “The Nutcracker”, choreography by V. Vainonen. Polonaise-Mazurka choreographed byM.Petipa from the ballet Paquita, Variation of Odalisques and Medora from the ballet Corsair, Cupid from the ballet Don Quixote. Also, a dance with sabers from the ballet “Gayane” choreographed by N. Anisimova, a trio from the ballet “Fairy of Dolls” staged by the Legat brothers, a variation from the ballet “Coppelia” choreographed by A. Gorsky, “Chaconne” and Rondo “Surprise” choreographed by D. Pimonov were also greeted with applause, a variation from the ballet “Swan Lake” choreographed by Yu. Grigorovich. Neokazakh dances “Akular” and “Balbobek” choreorgraphed by A. Sadykova, “Seriler Saltanaty” choreorgraphed by A. Sadykova and A. Shamshiev also thwarted a flurry of applause.
The First Vice-Rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, Bibigul Nusipzhanova congratulated the theater staff on their anniversary date – 90 theatrical season and wished them great success, creative inspiration, flight, brilliant premieres and ovations of admiring spectators.
Speaking to the gathered guests, Bibigul Nurgalievna spoke about the Academy and noted that thanks to the tireless support from the state and the professionalism of the tutors of the unique educational institution, the students of the Academy have a wonderful opportunity to speak at prestigious ballet competitions, tours in Kazakhstan, and touring. If last year it was Azerbaijan, this year – fraternal Uzbekistan!
As part of this visit to Uzbekistan, the leadership of the Academy also held a meeting with the rector of the Tashkent State Higher School of National Dance and Choreographic Art, Shukhrat Tokhtasimov, to further develop cooperation.
The organizers are sure that this event will make a significant contribution to the development and popularization of the potential of choreographic art and will contribute to the creation of favorable conditions for the further strengthening of good-neighborly relations between the two countries.
The rich program of business and cultural and humanitarian exchanges within the framework of the Year of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan confirms that Kazakh-Uzbek cooperation in the field of science, culture and art is on the rise. Active exchanges are being carried out through cultural institutions, educational institutions, public organizations, festivals and tours of creative teams are regularly held, and useful joint projects are being implemented in the field of education.
The Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, under the leadership of People’s Artist of Russia Altynay Asylmuratova, also contributed to strengthening the friendly relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan by presenting a concert program with the participation of talented and gifted children of our country to the residents and guests of Tashkent.
