“How to Become a Star”: a meeting with Tatyana Ten took place at the academy

On February 8, the Academy of Choreography hosted a meeting with Astana Ballet lead soloist Tatiana Ten, an honored figure of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of this event is to motivate the academy’s students to study and achieve in the profession. To listen to the performance of the famous ballerina came students and teachers of the Academy.

The topic of the meeting is “How to become a star”, and as it was noted by Tatiana Ten, her story for the students was not about how to be a star in principle, but how to become a star for yourself.

According to the artist, the difficulties she overcomes on the way to her goals allow her to think differently about herself: every time you achieve what you want, you start to appreciate and respect yourself more.

Tatiana also talked about how she was able to combine her work in theater and her training at the Academy of Choreography.

“You have to overcome laziness, overcome it now, because tomorrow no one will bring you success on a platter,” advised Ten. – You study here first and foremost for yourself, you work for yourself, and you build your own future career. Everything is in your hands.

During the meeting, students actively asked questions and ended with a group photo.
