Korisy kuni

On the eve of Nauryz Meiramy celebration on March 14, 2023 in the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography was held a festive event “Korisy kuni”, organized by the Faculty of Arts of specialties “Art Management” and “Art History”, Department of Educational Work and Social Issues, and the Committee on Youth Affairs. The spectacular event was held in the format of a theatrical costumed musical performance. Students demonstrated the Kazakh national traditions of hospitality and celebration of “Korisy kuni”.

On the same day, a creative handicraft contest “Altyn takiya” was held among the pupils of grades 1-4 of pre-professional education school. Decorating a national headdress takiya, participants and their parents showed a wonderful imagination. It will not be easy for the jury to choose the best work, but the results of the contest will be announced on April 3, 2023.
