Laboratory of Kazakh National Dance
On January 24, 2020, students of the 1st year of the Faculty of Choreography and the Faculty of Arts attended a presentation of the Scientific and Methodological Laboratory of the Kazakh National Dance, based on the basis of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography in 2019, under the guidance of the Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR, Ph.D. Toigan Izim Ospanovna.
The activity of the scientific and methodical laboratory of the Kazakh dance of the Academy is aimed at creating scientific projects in the field of modern trends in the preservation and development of national choreography. It is also planned to publish the results of scientific research, cooperation with creative higher educational institutions of the Republic, the CIS countries and foreign countries, the creation of a scientific base for studying the history of the dance culture of the Kazakh ethnic group and determining a unified style of teaching methods of Kazakh dance at different levels of the educational process (technical and vocational education, higher and postgraduate education), where Kazakh dance is studied.
The laboratory of Kazakh dance is designed to combine the efforts of the faculty, undergraduate students and postgraduate education programs for in-depth research and analysis of national dance culture. The results of the scientific and creative laboratory will be participation in scientific projects of various levels. The main task of the laboratory today is to develop a dictionary and terminological apparatus of Kazakh dance (in three languages and its transcription in Latin), which is being worked on at this stage by teachers of Kazakh dance of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.
