Shaken Aimanov International Film Festival

The 14th Shaken Aimanov International Film Festival organized by with support of The Ministry of Culture and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Almaty.
At the press-conference of this film festival, the Chairman of selection Committee Oleg Boretsky said that to participate at the International Film festival program 11 from 53 films were selected, among them films from Turkey, Iran, Peru, South Africa, Cuba, Europian countries and kazakhstan film “River” by Emir Baygazin. The competition program of the festival consisted of three sections, which are called famous films by Aimanov: “Crossroads”, “Land of fathers” and “We live here”.
The film “Kazakh dance”, directed by a senior teacher of the Academy Anvara Sadykova and the author of the script – the screenwriter, director – Gaziz Nasyrov, received the National film award” Kulager” as “The best documentary film”.
The film has involved the Artistic director – Asset Yernazarov, operator – Alexey Kiryukhin, editing director – Sergey Vilkoviskiy, composer – Assel Umarova, Kazakh workers of choreographic art Aygul Tati, Toigan Izim, Aygul Kulbekova, Gaynikamal Beysenova, Gulzhan Talpakova, Zhanel Ulanova and etc.
