Step into Art

On the 27th of May, the creative concert of the children who studied choreography and music from the teachers of the Academy took place on the stage of the educational theatre of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.

Children from the age of 6 to 13 participated in the concert. A solemn atmosphere filled the stage and the hall. Performers were dressed elegantly, and parents were festive but also a little worried. The event hosts were Azhar Yklasova and Ali Batkhan, students of the Art History and Art Management who were able to set the right tone for the concert, raising the bar of the event!

In total, 24 performances were presented, including choreographic and piano performances. Each performing student was able to captivate the audience with their numbers, extraordinary talent, and bright costumes.

At the end of the event, Laura Mansurova, the head of the sector of additional education and advanced training, which conducted the organizational work for the whole year, invited all the concert participants to the stage, where a congratulation ceremony was held on behalf of the end of the creative year. Each child was given a personal diploma of a creative person with heartwarming words from Academy’s teachers.

In turn, the children thanked the teachers with their heart-shaped postcards, who taught piano, the basics of rhythm, music, and dance throughout the year, as well as the importance of friendship and hard work. Our choreography mentors: Gulzhamal Sakhova, Zhanar Bakytbekkyzy, Aiza Bekali, Ekaterina Zhitkovets, and Aruzhan Turlybay. Piano mentors: Aigul Bikenova, Albina Bdanova, Asel Zhakupova, Aliya Nurpeisova, Shynar Shibutova, Izbasar Kairbergen, and Asel Taibergenova.

The evening concluded with a memorable photo session of children with mentors, friends and parents!
