Sultanakhmet Khodjikov’s legacy

On May 15th, the Faculty of Art, the Department of the Art History and Art-Management, held an information and educational event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Sultanakhmet Khodjikov -Kazakh SSR’s Honoured Artist and laureate of the State Prize named after Abay. The event took place in the “Science Cafe” centre at the Academy.

1st-year Art History students were part of the organization of the informative and creative day where reports on the director’s biography and work were presented. The main focus of such a creative event was the analysis of Khodjikov’s primary work – the feature film “Qyz Zhibek,” presented by the film critic Gauphar Aspandiyarqyzy.
