The conference “Art and Culture: Actual Problems of Our Time” was held at the Academy

April 11 at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography the university students’ scientific conference “Art and Culture: topical problems of our time” opened the annual Week of Science for undergraduate and graduate students of the Academy.

The aim of the conference is to support and develop the creative research potential of the students, attracting them to the active research activity.

Presentations of the reports touched upon a wide and topical range of issues and contained a lot of practical information. The listeners were interested by the works of the 1st year students of the educational program “Ballroom dance pedagogy” Danila Tsikhler (supervisor Moiseev E.S.) and Ekaterina Zhitkovets (supervisor Moiseyev Y.S.) who considered modern approaches of inclusive education based on dance.

The scientific approach to the design of various art events was shown by the students of the initial courses of the educational program “Art Management” and “Art History”. Galiya Atabayeva in her speech “Kazakhstan’s zamanaui theater management” (supervisor Zhumataeva A.R.) scientifically grounded the need for transformation of modern theater management in Kazakhstan. Imangali Gulnur and Serik Aida in their report “Creativity of the soloist of “Astana Ballet” theater Farhad Buriyev” (scientific supervisor G.Y. Saitova) found interesting aspects of the theater soloist.

Interestingly presented their research team of young researchers of the educational program “Pedagogy of Ballroom Dance”. Parchieva Milana, Saydazova Jamilya, Omarov Rinat, Khalel Yernar and Daniyarbekov Nurlem (supervisors Kabdusova D.Y., Balakshiy Y.M.) gave a description of work “Features of traditional dance culture of Polish ethnic group on an example of dance “Krakovsky” and accompanied it by an illustration in the ballet hall.

During the hearing of the reports, the speakers were asked questions aimed at deepening the topics of the presentations. At the end of the conference, all the participants were given certificates.
