The Day of First President

In honor of the Day of the First President, a solemn event was held at the Academy.

1 December is a special day in the history of independent Kazakhstan. On this day in 1991, the first popular election of the president took place. The holiday was established in order to celebrate and recognize the merits of the first president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, to the Republic.

The ceremony was attended by students, teachers of the Academy and public figures.

In her congratulatory speech, the adviser to the director of the National Scientific and Practical Center “Til Kazyna” named after Shaysultan Shayakhmetov, a well-known public figure Orazgul Asangazy congratulated the audience on the First President’s Day and noted that this day is a tribute to the merits of Nursultan Nazarbayev, the founder of Kazakhstani statehood. She also noted that in the program “Rukhani zhangyru: bolashakka bagdar” Elbasy designated a modernization of the Kazakh language, and it is the language that is the basis of any independent state.

“As one European scholar noted, the Kazakh language is truly a diamond among all Turkic languages. Therefore, I urge you to be proud that you know this language and enjoy speaking it,” said Orazkul Asangazy.

The graduates of the Academy took part in the gala concert. All speakers and participants noted the historical role of the First President in the formation and development of Independent Kazakhstan and its authority in the modern world process.

The purpose of this event is to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism, to promote socio-political activities, the works of a major world-class politician – N.A. Nazarbayev.
