The green gift

On the 18th of May, graduates and teachers of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography held a traditional tree-planting ceremony. Annually, graduates contribute to the Academy’s landscaping and leave their signatures on the Alumni Alley.

The event was organized by the Faculty of Choreography, the Faculty of Arts, and the Department of Educational Work and Social Affairs.

Tree planting is a tradition present in many countries as students’ gesture of gratitude. Signs with the graduation year’s inscription are put near each “green gift.”

There is a wisdom in our people that says: ” A one-year-old family will plant wheat, a 100-year-old family will plant trees, and a 1000-year-old family will raise an intelligent generation.

We wish our graduates to keep growing their creative potential and remain our pride.
