Unforgettable moments of the reporting concert

On May 10th and 11th of 2023, the reporting concert of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography for the 2022-2023 academic year was held on the stage of the “Astana Ballet” Theater.

The annual concert was unique with the premiere of the Grand Pas from the ballet “Paquita,” as well as new numbers. Interest in the great choreographer Marius Petipa’s ballet does not fade away as it is a great school for beginner artists in the 21st century.

The delight of the people for young ballet dancers was special: some of them expressed their gratitude with flowers, while some of them saw off the artists from the stage with applauses and “bravos!”. The TV channel “Khabar 24” was also present in this evening to telecast the show “Culture News.” Gulnar Aliyeva, the head of the Department of Concert Activities and Stage Practice, as well as teacher Anton Lukovkin, invited from the UK, gave an interview about the reporting concert, including the premiere of the new ballet “Paquita.”

The program of the second part included concert numbers from the classical repertoire such as “Krakowiak” from the “Ivan Susanin” opera, “Pas d’esclave” from the “Le Corsaire” ballet, “Pas de deux” from the “The Nutcracker” ballet, and others. In the national repertoire, the audience was able to enjoy the performances of Kazakh choreographers Anvara Sadykova and Almat Shamshiev.

The reporting concert of young artists of the Academy is the opportunity to see amazing dance numbers on the stage, as well as to witness the birth of new ballet world stars.
