Ways to eliminate procrastination were taught to academy students

On January 23, 2023 at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography was held the seminar for the 1st and 2nd year undergraduate students on the theme: “What is procrastination: causes and ways to deal with it”. The event was held by the teacher-psychologist of the Academy Maral Ibrahim together with the curators of the academic groups of the institution.

The purpose of the seminar was to familiarize students with the concept of “procrastination”, the causes of its occurrence, as well as to discuss ways to combat procrastination.

During the event the students learned the difference between procrastination and laziness, how many people on the Earth are subject to it. The reasons for its occurrence were discussed, and specific tools to combat it were given. Students actively participated in the training, asking questions and making assumptions.

At the end of the session a cheering session was held, during which the students were given the opportunity to get a professional recommendation from the teacher-psychologist of the Academy.
