I am glad to welcome you to the official website of the youngest choreography academy in the world!

Our special mission is to educate not only highly qualified ballet dancers, but also people with a high level of culture, education and spirituality who are able to adequately represent Kazakhstan on the world stage. We are talking about creating a cultural brand – the national ballet school, which, along with the best classical traditions, will incorporate unique and inimitable elements of national culture.

We are open to anyone who feels involved in the art of dance! Our resource provides all the necessary information for applicants and their parents, students and undergraduates who want to get an education, as well as for those who want to be aware of the life of our Academy.

EDUCATION:

1986 – Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory (Kurmangazy Alma-Ata State Conservatory), Teacher, concertmaster.
2007 – Postgraduate course of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.K. Zhurgenov, specialty “Theory and methodology of professional education”.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

1984-1989 – Teacher-concertmaster of A. Kashaubayev Children’s Music School № 1;
1989-1998 – a piano teacher at the Department of Musical Instruments of the Abay Kazakh Pedagogical Institute;
1998-2000 – Teacher of A. Kashaubayev Children’s Music School No. 1;
2000-2009 – The senior lecturer of the Department of Variety Art, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Theatre and Variety Art, Dean of the Faculty of Musical Art of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts under the name of T. Zhurgenov;
2009-2014 – Director of the Republican variety and circus college named after Zh. Yelebekov;
09.2014-06.2018 – Rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts under the name of T. Zhurgenov;
06.2018-11.2022- First Vice-Rector, then Vice-Rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography;
Since November 15, 2022 was appointed as a Rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography – Order dated November 15, 2022.
Since October 18, 2024 - Deputy Chairperson of the World Dance Education Alliance (Beijing, China).

PUBLICATIONS:

63 scientific papers were published, including 6 articles with a non-zero impact factor, 21 articles in journals included in the Committee for Control in the Sphere of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 22 articles in the proceedings of an international scientific and practical conference, 1 monograph, 3 articles in a collective monograph, 4 articles in journals of foreign and neighboring countries, 7 articles in Kazakh scientific journals.
