On April 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., the M.O.Auezov Institute of Literature and Art of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan will hold the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Akhmet Zhubanov and Contemporary Musicology” dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding composer, conductor, the first academician in the field of music, and one of the founders of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR AKHMET KUANOVICH ZHUBANOV, who stood at the origins of national scholarship and education.

Format: The conference will be held in a hybrid format, with both in-person and remote participation (online, offline).

Working languages: Kazakh, Russian, English.

Forms of participation: In-person presentation; poster presentation; remote participation (publication of an article in the conference proceedings).
