As part of the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Faculty of Directing, Art Management, and Cinematography at KazNUI named after K. Baiseitova, two major events were held, in which lecturers and students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography took part.

The first event — the round table “Art Management in the Context of Cultural Transformations” — was held on November 24, 2025. Participants discussed modern trends in art and cultural management. Master’s students of the Academy presented research on current areas of art management: Вот перевод на английский:

1. Adeliya Aitkhozhina – “The Role of an Art Manager in the Modern Cultural Market”;
2. Gulsara Bazar – “Ways to Improve the Management System in Theatrical Activities”;
3. Aizhan Soltanbek – “The Role of Art Management in PR Promotion in the Fashion Industry”;
4. Akbike Algi – “Features of Music Management in Promoting an International Violin Competition.”

The works were supervised by Professor Zhanat Babazhanova.

Doctoral student Saida Sattybayeva («The Role of Art Management in Preserving and Promoting National Cultural Heritage: Concepts of Image and Style in Contemporary Art of Kazakhstan», supervisor: Professor Gulnara Dzhumaseitova) and master’s student Ilyas Nurgazinov («Interdisciplinary Projects – A Professional Support for Graduates», supervisor: Professor Alexander Pyagay) also gave presentations at the round table.

The event highlighted the growing role of young researchers in advancing art management in Kazakhstan.

Another significant event held on November 25–26, 2025, at KazNUI was the III International Student Competition for Art Management Training Programs.

Fourth-year student Lyazzat Amangazy won an honorable 3rd place under the guidance of senior lecturer of the Faculty of Arts, Almira Kulmaganbetova.
