From 7 to 9 November 2024, the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography will host the III International Festival of Professinal Choreographic Schools «Temps lié». This significant cultural event is aimed at developing and promoting choreographic art on the international arena, as well as strengthening ties between choreographic schools from different countries. The festival will bring together outstanding ballet dancers and choreographers, providing them with a unique platform to share their experience and creative achievements.

The grand opening of the festival will take place on November 7 on the stage of Astana Ballet Theatre. That evening, the audience will be able to enjoy a unique production by the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography - the ballet «The Romance of the Rosebud and the Butterfly». This work, based on the last creation of the great Marius Petipa to the music the Butterfly» of Ricardo Drigo, edited by choreographer Vasily Medvedev, will be the centrepiece of the evening.
