"Best Art Project" Contest within the Science Week 2025: Art as the Language of Memory, Peace, and Time

On April 16, 2025, the “Best Art Project” contest was held at the Science Café space as part of Science Week 2025. The competition showcased original artistic concepts reflecting themes of historical memory, peacebuilding, cultural identity, and the perception of time.

The event brought together students and their academic supervisors, combining scientific approaches with artistic thinking through visual and conceptual project formats. Participants’ works stood out for their conceptual depth, social relevance, and diversity of artistic forms — from installations and visual storytelling to creative concepts with a strong social message.

Students of the "Art Management" undergraduate program took part in the contest, presenting original projects that explored the themes of war, memory, generational continuity, and the pursuit of a just world through the means of contemporary art.

The presented projects were highly praised for their originality, relevance, and artistic expressiveness. Each work became not only the result of research but also a personal statement by the authors on the past, present, and future.

The contest demonstrated the great potential of youth initiatives in the fields of art and science, contributing to cultural dialogue and the formation of humanistic values in society.

The organizers express their gratitude to all participants, academic supervisors, and the audience for their interest in the project and their contribution to the development of interdisciplinary research in the field of art.
