On the fourth of October the Academy hosted the initiation of young students ‘Dedication to the profession’ and the celebration on the occasion of Teachers' Day.

The initiation has become a good tradition, where the younger generation receives pep talk from ballet masters. Pupils of the fifth grade took the professional stage for the first time, performing ‘Polonaise-Mazurka’. Asylmuratova Altynai Abduakhimovna, artistic director of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, made a congratulatory speech. Then there was a ceremony of taking the oath of students of the Academy, where they recited a vow and received memorable gifts on behalf of Altynai Abduakhimovna.

The honouring of those without whom there would be no new generations of stars was held - without the teachers of the Academy. Without people who teach not only to move to the beat, but also to love art wholeheartedly. Rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography Nusipzhanova Bibigul Nurgalievna congratulated the respected teachers, educators, tutors on Teachers' Day, presenting letters of thanks. The students of the Academy performed a concert programme, presenting variations from the ballets ‘The Talisman’, ‘The Fairy Doll’, ‘Le Corsaire’, ‘Don Quixote’, ‘Polonaise-Mazurka’ from the ballet ‘Paquita’ and ‘Dance with spoons’ to folk music.
