Gaziza Moldakhmet, a student of the Academy, becomes a winner of the national competition for N. Nazarbayev Foundation student scholarships

A ceremonial awards event for the winners of the national competition for Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation student scholarships was held at the Nazarbayev Center.

Among the winners was Gaziza Moldakhmet, a student of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, who attended the ceremony with an Academy support group.

This competition has been held since 2010 and aims to support talented youth of Kazakhstan. The scholarship was established to encourage excellent academic performance, active civic engagement, and to identify promising young leaders. It motivates students toward new achievements and accomplishments.

While studying at the Academy, Gaziza Moldakhmet has participated in many international competitions and festivals, demonstrating a high level of performance skill, artistry, and stage culture.

Her achievements include:

  1. Second Prize Laureate of the 8th International Competition "Өрлеу" in the “Folk Dance” category, Group A, and recipient of the Dauren Abirov Prize for Best Performance of a Kazakh Dance.
  2. Grand Prix Winner of the 3rd Republican Competition-Festival of World Folk Dances "Өнербаян Өрнегі", founded by the People's Artist of Kazakhstan Gulzhan Talpakova.
  3. Holder of a certificate of conformity to the standard for the reconstruction of K.Ya. Goleizovsky’s choreographic work established by the “Preservation of Kasyan Goleizovsky’s Creative Heritage” Foundation — "Gypsy Dance" to the music of V.V. Zhelobinsky (from the ballet Don Quixote).
