INTERNSHIP OF THE DOCTORAL STUDENT OF THE ACADEMY BALZHAN NURBOSSYNOVA WAS HELD IN GEORGIA

On June 20, 2025, Balzhan Nurbossynova, a doctoral student at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, presented the outcomes of her recent research internship in Georgia to her professors and academic supervisor, Gulnara Yusupovna Saitova.

The internship was held from May 16 to June 17, 2025, at the Batumi State University of Arts. During this period, Balzhan deepened the theoretical and methodological framework of her dissertation, collected new empirical material, and conducted its analysis. Her academic advisor in Georgia was Professor Maia Tchitchileishvili, a renowned expert in medieval art.

As part of her program, Balzhan explored key museum and exhibition venues in Batumi and Tbilisi, including Batumi Digital Space, Contemporary Art Space, the State Art Museum of Adjara, and Tbilisi Digital Space. These visits enabled her to carry out a comparative analysis of the visual narratives in Kazakhstan’s and Georgia’s digital art scenes.

Additionally, she took part in the international scientific conference “Philology Issues and Cultural Dialogue in the 21st Century,” organized by Sukhum State University, where she delivered a presentation entitled “Digital Visual Art of Kazakhstan: Narratives in the Instagram Era”.

Balzhan Nurbossynova emphasized that the internship made a significant contribution to her professional and academic growth, broadened her research horizons, and will serve as a solid foundation for her future scholarly work and publications.
