Kazakh National Academy of Choreography again in the center of world art

From May 6 to May 8, 2025, as part of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Hungarian Dance University, students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography Torgyn Leben and Ali Kussainov performed on the stage of the Budapest National Dance Theater as part of the Budapest Dance Festival.

Representatives of the Academy presented to the audience a concert number to the music of Franz Liszt "Dreams of Love" choreographed by Bulat Ayukhanov, as well as a pas de deux from P. Tchaikovsky's ballet "Sleeping Beauty" choreographed by M. Petipa on the stage of the Budapest National Dance Theater.

Not every academy is honored to speak at such significant international events. Along with such reputable educational institutions as the Beijing Dance Academy and the Ballet Academy at the Vienna Opera, the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography was invited to the anniversary of the Hungarian Dance University. This proves the high level of training of our students and the recognition of the Academy as one of the leading centers of choreographic art in Central Asia.

"It's not just a performance for us, but a real honor to represent our country at such a significant international event. We are proud to be a part of cultural exchange and strengthening ties between nations through art," said Svetlana Kokshinova, Head of the Academy's school - college.

The Academy expresses its sincere gratitude for the invitation to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Hungarian Dance University and highly appreciates the creative initiatives aimed at strengthening international cultural cooperation.
