On February 13, 2026, the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography hosted a republican seminar titled “Developing Key Competencies: Teachers’ Experience in the Use of Artificial Intelligence” for educators in basic secondary, technical, and vocational education.
The main objective of the event was to discuss ways to develop key competencies through the effective use of artificial intelligence tools in the educational process, as well as to disseminate advanced teaching practices.
The seminar brought together teachers, methodologists, heads of educational institutions, and experts from educational organizations in Astana, Almaty, Taraz, Kyzylorda, Kostanay, Kokshetau, Karaganda, and other regions of the country. Participants engaged in extensive discussions on modern educational requirements, the potential of digital technologies, personalized learning, the development of critical thinking, and effective organization of the learning process.
As part of the program, open lessons were conducted, substantial presentations were delivered, practical demonstrations and master classes were organized, and a platform for exchanging opinions among participants was provided.
During the seminar, the role of artificial intelligence in pedagogical practice was highlighted, along with its impact on improving the quality of education and fostering students’ creative and research abilities. The speakers shared specific examples from their own experience and presented effective methods for integrating AI tools into classroom instruction.
At the conclusion of the event, participants emphasized the practical significance of the seminar and noted that such professional gatherings play an important role in enhancing the quality of education. The seminar served as a platform for the professional development of educators, the exchange of experience, and the implementation of innovative approaches in the educational process.
