From 27 February to 14 March, the Republican contest “Best Scholarly Publication” among young researchers in the field of art was held. This year, the Organizing Committee received 12 applications from representatives of leading Kazakhstani universities implementing educational programs in the arts.

Based on the evaluation results, 11 submissions were admitted to the contest, while one application was excluded due to a low originality score (13%).

The assessment of the works was carried out by a jury of five independent experts representing various scientific and educational institutions. The evaluation procedure followed the criteria established in the Contest Regulations, with individual scores assigned to each participant.

According to the overall scoring results, the prize-winning places were awarded to young researchers representing the following educational institutions:

• Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory
• Kazakh National Academy of Choreography
• Kazakh National University of Arts

Additionally, several participants received special recognition for the originality of their research approach and the relevance of the chosen topics.

All prize-winning publications were recommended for publication in the Arts Academy scientific journal.
