On February 6, 2025, a grand concert of the TURAN ethno-folklore ensemble took place on the stage of the E. Rakhmadiev State Academic Philharmonic (Congress Hall), which presented a unique musical and theatrical show called TAMYR. The event became a vivid cultural event, immersing the audience in the atmosphere of a nomadic civilization and revealing the origins of the Turkic-speaking peoples and the mythological worldview of their ancestors.

The TAMYR project brought together not only musicians of the TURAN ensemble, but also dance groups GULDER, SALTANAT, Alem, as well as participants of the Kazakh National Musical and Drama Theater named after K. Kuanyshbayev.

Special attention was drawn to the participation of students of the Faculty of сhoreography of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, performing as part of the GULDER ensemble. Under the guidance of Anvara Aripovna Sadykova, senior lecturer at the Academy, artistic director of the GULDER ensemble, the students presented dance compositions that organically complemented the musical part of the program. The teacher-tutor of the GULDER ensemble is Dana Kuanyshbekova, a teacher of the Academy of Choreography.

It is worth noting that the members of the TURAN ensemble are senior teachers of the Faculty of Arts of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, Bauyrzhan Bekmukhanbetov and Serik Nurmoldaev. We are proud of their work and contribution to the development of art in Kazakhstan.

During the concert, works on more than 30 national musical instruments representing various peoples of the Turkic world, including Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, Uzbeks, Azerbaijanis, Turks, Turkmens, Hungarians and Sakha were performed. The audience not only enjoyed the unique sound of the instruments, but also felt the spirit of unity and diversity of cultures united by common roots.

The TAMYR project has become the embodiment of the rich spiritual heritage of the Turkic world, giving the audience an unforgettable evening filled with emotions and enthusiastic perception. Music, dance and theatrical elements are harmoniously intertwined, creating a unique atmosphere that will remain in the audience's memory for a long time.
