Highlights of the scientific internship in Georgia

From April 1 to May 1, 2025, a doctoral student of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, Almat Shamshiev, is undergoing a scientific internship at the Faculty of Choreography of the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University in Tbilisi, Georgia. As part of the internship, important data on choreographic art has been collected, and comparative studies are being conducted.

During the scientific trip, Almat Shamshiev met with prominent representatives of Georgian art and exchanged experiences. Exactly:

  • Ucha Dvashvili – Emeritus Professor
  • Avtandil Chubindze – Master of Arts, choreographer and dance director
  • Lasha Chardshvili – PhD, Foreign Consultant, Associate Professor
  • Khatuna Damshidze is a researcher and professor, and professional ties have been established with other university professors.

During the internship, not only theoretical knowledge is strengthened, but also intercultural ties. To this end, on April 16, 2025, Almat Sherdarovich held a master class for Georgian students and presented the subtleties of Kazakhstan dance art. This event aroused great interest among the 1st year students and became a convincing proof of cultural cooperation between the two countries.

Meetings and master classes within the framework of the internship contribute to improving professional skills, as well as strengthening international scientific and creative relations.
