In honor of the 190th anniversary of the birth of the great Kazakh scientist, traveler and ethnographer Shokan Ualikhanov, on February 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., a round table "Sh. Ualikhanov – Shygys Zhuldyzy" will be held in the conference hall of the Academy. The event brings together leading researchers and scientists whose works are dedicated to the multifaceted heritage of Shokan Ualikhanov.

The participants of the round table will discuss the scientific discoveries and achievements of the great thinker, explore his contribution to the development of Kazakh and world science, as well as the importance of his cultural heritage for modern Kazakhstan. The program includes the participation of well-known researchers of Shokan Ualikhanov's work and an open discussion of topical issues related to his heritage and significance for future generations.
