The Republican Subject Olympiad and the IV Competition for young choreographers dedicated to the 75th anniversary of M. Tleubayev are over
The Republican Subject Olympiad and the IV Competition for Young Choreographers, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Mintay Tleubayev, came to an end. The events took place over two days on March 17 and 18 among students of Kazakhstani universities.
The subject Olympiad was held among 3-4 year students of the specialty Choreography. The first stage of the Olympiad was held at their educational institutions and the second, final stage took place at the Academy of Choreography. In the first round of the final stage the participants were evaluated in such disciplines as the theory and methods of teaching classical dance, the theory and methods of teaching Kazakh dance. In the second round students were able to demonstrate their knowledge in the musical quiz “Through the pages of ballet and opera productions” and presented scientific and creative projects on the theme “Portraits”.
Yelena Sherstneva, tutor of “Astana Opera”, was the chairman of the competition committee. Natalya Goncharova, Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was also invited as one of the members of the jury.
The IV Competition for young choreographers was held among faculties and departments of art universities of Kazakhstan in the fields of “Ballet Art” and “Direction of Choreography”. In two rounds of the competition participants were able to demonstrate their talents in any dance style and genre.
To evaluate the creative works of contestants were invited Honored Artist of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic Konstantin Zaklinsky, Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Deputy Director of “Astana Ballet” theater Valery Kuzembayev, Professor of Baku Academy of Choreography Lyudmila Gasanova, Judge of International Class WDSF, President of “Association of Sports Dance Federations of the Republic of Kazakhstan” Kabdulla Bayzhanov. Kabdulla Bayzhanov, winner of Grand Prix I of the Competition for young choreographers Amina Samarbayeva.
According to the results of 2 days team of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography Academy Stars took 1st place in the Olympics. The first places in the Competition also took representatives of the Academy – Arman Serikbay in the category “A” (solo) and Amanbayev Madi – in the category “B” (duet, trio, group, mass).
