The Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after Temirbek Zhurgenov invites you to participate in the International Round Table “Research of Scientific and Practical Problems of Theatre and Cinema Art”, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Yergalym Tolendiyevich Tokeev — Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Union of Theatre Workers of Kazakhstan, laureate of the International Zhambyl Prize, holder of the “Defender of the Fatherland” medal, and Associate Professor of the Department of Acting and Directing. The event will take place on November 20, 2024.

The round table is planned to cover the following main areas:

• Theoretical and methodological issues in theatre studies;
• Visualization as a necessity in the global world;
• Globalization and practical issues of preserving intangible cultural heritage;
• Interdisciplinary research in the arts: development processes in the humanities and professional education.

Working languages of the round table: Kazakh and Russian.

Participation format: in-person and дистанционно (online/offline).
