The Kazakh National Academy of Choreography announces the opening of applications for the Second Republican Contest “The Best Scientific Publication” among young researchers in the field of art.

The Contest is held in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Academy and aims to strengthen academic cooperation, support young scholars, and promote the development of contemporary art studies in Kazakhstan.

Eligibility

Applications are invited from:

• Master’s students
• Doctoral students (PhD / Profile Doctorate)

Fields of study:

• History of choreographic art
• Pedagogy of choreography
• Art history
• Modern culture
• Management in art and education
• Social and humanitarian sciences

General Information

• Format: remote (online)
• Language of submissions: Kazakh, Russian, English
• Application deadline: 5 January 2026
• Paper submission deadline: 5 February 2026
• Each participant may submit only one research paper.
• All materials undergo a mandatory peer-review procedure.
• Submissions received after the deadline or not meeting the formal requirements will not be considered.

Awards and Publication

Winners will receive diplomas of I, II and III degrees.

Papers recommended by the Expert Commission will be published in the Academy’s scientific journal “Arts Academy” and will be available on the official website of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.
