The Kazakh National Academy of Choreography hosted an international competition of young choreographers dedicated to the memory of the outstanding Kazakh ballet master Bulat Gazizovich Ayukhanov.

The international competition was held among creative universities of Kazakhstan on the group of educational programs B028-Choreography and foreign universities-partners of the Academy. This year the competition was held in two formats: online and mixed (online and offline), in which the participants could demonstrate their talents in any dance style and genre. The two formats (online and offline) helped to attract more participants, interesting experts and speakers from different countries and regions of China, Israel, Azerbaijan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

Choreographic performances were evaluated by an authoritative jury, which included a teacher-tutor of the "Astana Opera" TRPB Elena Sherstneva, Dean of the Faculty of Movement of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance Ronen Izhaki, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Denis Mochalov, Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulnara Adamova, President of the Association of Sports Dance Federations of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kabdulla Baizhanov.

The prize of the Rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, Knight of the Order "Kurmet", Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, candidate of pedagogical sciences, professor Nusipzhanova Bibigul Nurgalievna Bibigul Nurgalievna was awarded to the student of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khodja Ahmed Yasavi Shakibek Nurai Nurai Әdilbekkyzyzy.

The prize of the Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Chief Ballet Master of Astana Ballet Theatre, winner of the National Award Umai-2022 in the nomination "Best Choreographer" Abubakhrieva Mukaram Saydakimovna Abubakhrieva was awarded to the student of Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay Vorobyeva Yuliana.
