Huge work was done on retouching, restoration, attribution and restoration of archival photographs by Alexey Nekrasov. The editor of the edition is Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Zhanna Tolysbaeva, translated the book into Kazakh language - Simbat Koilybaeva and Saltanat Dungenbaeva".

Recall, Gulzhan Talpakova - dancer and choreographer, People's Artist of Kazakhstan, was born in 1948 in the city of Atyrau. She was a soloist of the legendary ensemble "Gulder", as well as a soloist of "Kazakhkoncert". During the period of her creative activity Gulzhan Talpakova performed on the stages of 52 countries of the world. She made a huge contribution to the development of Kazakh culture. Dozens of national dances from her solo repertoire, such as "Aizhan kyz", "Yerke bala", "Qos alqa", "Diamond Pheasant", "Altynai" and others have become the heritage of national choreography.

The time when Gulzhan Izimovna worked can be described as a bright and intense period. She performed in concert brigades in the village, government concerts and abroad. She always enjoyed great success. If artists of other genres convey to the audience the idea through words or melodies, Gulzhan Izimovna managed to charge the audience with her movements and fix her gaze to the dance, said Valery Kuzembayev, former general director of the state association "Kazakhconcert", honored worker of Kazakhstan.

Famous choreographers, prominent public figures, students and fans of Gulzhan Talpakova's work came to the solemn presentation of the book. The event was held in the educational theater of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.
