Academy Community Joins the Taza Qazaqstan Environmental Campaign

The community of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography took part in the nationwide Taza Qazaqstan environmental campaign held in connection with World Cleanup Day.

The Academy’s staff and students carried out a community cleanup on its grounds. Working together, the participants cleaned and improved the surrounding area, contributing to environmental protection and the development of a responsible environmental culture.

Yeldana Kapenova, a second-year Art Management student at the Faculty of Arts, also participated in a large-scale environmental event held in Astana’s Presidential Park. The event brought together President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, volunteers, young people, environmental activists and residents of the capital.

During the event, the President planted trees alongside the participants and reviewed projects for the further development of the city’s green public spaces. The Head of State noted that the Taza Qazaqstan initiative had quickly grown into a nationwide movement, bringing together people of different ages and professions around the shared values of community improvement and environmental responsibility.

“Cleanliness must become a way of life for every citizen,” President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.

The Academy community’s participation in environmental activities was a practical contribution to the nationwide Taza Qazaqstan initiative. Such campaigns help foster environmental awareness, support the development of volunteerism and encourage personal responsibility for the cleanliness and improvement of the country.
