Academy Rector Participated in an International Forum Held Under the Auspices of UNESCO

On May 19–20, 2026, the International Forum “Partnership for Peace and Art” was held in Karaganda as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of UNESCO and the 10th anniversary of the Regional Office of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs in the Karaganda Region.

Within the framework of the forum, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Current Trends, Achievements and Innovations in the Activities of UNESCO Clubs” brought together representatives of the fields of education and culture from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, India, and Azerbaijan.

The Kazakh National Academy of Choreography was represented at the forum by Rector Bibigul Nusipzhanova. She moderated the seminar “Best Practices and Methodological Innovations in the Education System” and delivered a presentation titled “The New Generation Academy of Choreography: Experience and Prospects,” dedicated to modern approaches in choreographic education.

The delegation of Astana at the forum was headed by Sagynysh Sultanova, Head of the Department of Educational Work and Social Affairs of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.

The forum program included international seminars, master classes, exhibitions, and cultural events aimed at developing international cooperation, exchanging professional experience, and promoting cultural and educational initiatives.

Following the forum, participants discussed prospects for further cooperation and strengthening partnerships between UNESCO clubs and educational and cultural organizations.
