Students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography who are studying in Poland and China under the academic mobility program have successfully represented the Academy on international concert stages.
A large-scale New Year’s concert was held in Warsaw, featuring students of the Choreography Department of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music and a symphony orchestra. For the first time, the performances took place simultaneously in different concert halls: in the symphony orchestra hall, a live broadcast of the dance performance was shown on screen, while in the choreography hall, the orchestra’s performance was broadcast. Students of our Academy, Tolepbergen Bona and Polina Ivanova, took part in this concert, performing two excerpts from the ballet The Nutcracker to music by P. I. Tchaikovsky in a jazz arrangement by Duke Ellington.
It is noteworthy that, within the same academic mobility program, students from Poland—Mikołaj Czyżowski and Lucja Pluta (Fryderyk Chopin University of Music)—are currently studying at our Academy. In addition to participating in internal events and concerts of the Academy, they also performed during гастролях in Kokshetau.
Students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, Milana Strusinskaya and Bauyrzhan Salauatov, who are studying at the Beijing Dance Academy, are also actively involved in various projects and demonstrate their professional competencies.
The large-scale international event Beijing International Students Night 2025 was opened by a performance of our students presenting the Kazakh dance piece Orteke.
In addition, together with students of the Beijing Dance Academy, they presented the audience with the performances Caribbean Dance and Chinese Drum Dance.
Such performances allow students to gain unique stage experience and contribute to the promotion of the Kazakhstani dance school, as well as the culture and arts of Kazakhstan.
