On June 10, 2026, students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography participated in the New Generation Youth Cultural Festival on the “Energy Silk Road,” organized by CNPC Central Asia Ltd.

The performance and preparation process were organized under the supervision of Gulnar Aliyeva, Head of the Academy’s Department of Concert Activities and Stage Practice. As part of the festival, the students performed the dance “Savrdng,” choreographed by Chinese choreographer Marziya Mutaylifu at the Academy.

One of the key events of the festival was the international youth forum “E-Light – New Generation Youth Cultural Festival on the ‘Energy Silk Road’,” which brought together representatives of government agencies, educational institutions, international companies, cultural figures, and youth leaders from Central Asia and China. The program included the thematic exhibition “Energy Footprints of the Silk Road” as well as panel sessions dedicated to international cooperation, youth development, scientific and technological innovation, and cultural exchange.

The forum was attended by Bibigul Nussipzhanova, Rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, who served as a speaker at two panel sessions. During the session “The Unity of Knowledge and Practice: Youth Growth,” participants discussed the integration of practical experience into the educational process, the development of human capital, and the creation of opportunities for the professional growth of young specialists. The session “Digital Creativity: Cultural Identity” explored the potential of digital technologies for preserving and promoting national culture, strengthening cultural identity, and developing creative industries. The discussion of these issues facilitated the exchange of experience and the development of new approaches to advancing education and culture in contemporary conditions.

Another festival event was the “E-Light” flash mob, in which Academy students took part. The performance brought together representatives of youth, culture, and education and was aimed at promoting international cooperation and intercultural interaction.

The festival events enabled Academy students to enhance their professional skills, gain practical experience, and expand their international connections. The experience gained contributes to the development of intercultural dialogue and the strengthening of cultural ties among the countries of Central Asia, while also playing an important role in the professional and personal development of young performers.
