Academy Students Participated in the Opening Ceremony of the Final Stage of the Ministry of Culture and Information Spartakiad as Members of the “BIRLIK” Ensemble

On June 13, 2026, the opening ceremony of the final stage of the Spartakiad among civil servants and employees of subordinate organizations of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place at the QAZAQSTAN Athletics Sports Complex in Astana.

The Spartakiad is aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle, developing physical culture and sports, and strengthening corporate spirit among employees of the culture and information sectors. The competition program included Kazakh wrestling, arm wrestling, table tennis, togyzqumalaq, chess, volleyball, basketball, and mini-football.

The cultural program of the opening ceremony featured a performance by the “BIRLIK” ensemble, which included students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography. Their participation enriched the festive atmosphere of the event and became a vibrant addition to the sports celebration for participants and guests.

Participation in national-level events provides Academy students with valuable professional experience, contributes to the development of their artistic skills, and promotes choreographic art to a wider audience.

The final stage of the Spartakiad brought together representatives of government bodies and organizations from across the country, serving as a platform for strengthening professional ties, promoting an active lifestyle, and supporting the development of sports within the culture and information sectors.
