On May 18, 2026, students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography took part in the cultural event “Night at the Museum – 2026,” presenting a vibrant concert program at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan that combined contemporary, ballroom, and national choreography.

The event became a platform for the creative self-expression of the Academy’s students. The program included performances staged by teachers and students of the Faculty of Choreography, reflecting the richness of dance art and the diversity of stage styles.

The concert opened with the choreographic composition “Näzik,” staged by Almat Shamshiyev to music by Marat Berdykulov. The audience was also presented with the original work “Female” by third-year student Karolina Ormanova, performed to music by Vincenzo Bellini.

Particular interest among the guests was sparked by the “Korean Dance,” staged by Gulnara Saitova to folk music, as well as “Zhastar Waltz” choreographed by Yevgeny Moiseyev to music by Shamshi Kaldayakov and performed by students of the “Pedagogy of Sports Ballroom Dance” educational program.

The program concluded with the choreographic composition “Be Close to Me,” staged by second-year student Bauyrzhan Salauatov to music by Nils Frahm, and “Monshaktar,” choreographed by Almat Shamshiyev to music by the ethno-folklore ensemble Turan.

Participation in “Night at the Museum – 2026” provided the Academy’s students with an opportunity to demonstrate their performance skills, creative potential, and high level of professional training.
