On June 14, 2026, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Rosa Baglanova Kazakhconcert State Academic Concert Organization hosted the lecture-concert “EXPERIENCE No. 4: Dialogue of Eras: From the Pavane to the Kazakh Waltz” presented by the GULDER Ensemble.

The project introduced audiences to the history of dance culture spanning several centuries, highlighting the aesthetic features of different eras and the diversity of stage movement and expression.

The program includes such dance genres as pavane, minuet, polonaise, waltz, tango, latin and Kazakh waltz. Each of them reflected the peculiarities of its era and cultural traditions, and the Kazakh waltz, which became the symbolic end of this choreographic journey, emphasized the continuity of national art and its connection with the world cultural heritage. The event was of particular significance to the Academy, as its authors were faculty members of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography — international competition laureate and Chief Ballet Master of the GULDER Ensemble Anvara Sadykova, and GULDER Ensemble choreographer and teacher Dana Kuanyshbekova.

The lecture-concert brought together GULDER Ensemble artists, State Youth Prize “Daryn” laureate Alibek Almadiyev, pop singer Aisulu Zhak, international competition laureates Nurai Sheru and Batyrzhan Smakov, Doctor of Art Studies Madina Kapeu-Kokhanova, the SAMGA Quartet, as well as students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.

For the Academy’s students, participation in this cultural and educational event became a valuable artistic experience, providing an opportunity to perform alongside distinguished representatives of Kazakhstan’s cultural community and contribute to the promotion of dance heritage.

The lecture-concert “EXPERIENCE No. 4: Dialogue of Eras: From the Pavane to the Kazakh Waltz” demonstrated the continuity of dance traditions across different historical periods, emphasizing the connection between national and world cultures and the significance of choreographic art as a universal language of creativity.
