November 21 in the walls of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography was held the first award ceremony "Freedom Ballet" among the figures of ballet art of Kazakhstan. The event was timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the national currency "Tenge". The "Freedom Ballet" award is given to 10 Kazakhstani artists and ballet artists for the highest performing skills, as well as a significant contribution to the development of ballet in Kazakhstan. A total of six nominations were presented at the awards: "For talent, passion and devotion to the art of ballet", "For the development and popularization of national dance", "For special contribution to the achievements of the Kazakh National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Abai", "For the inspired development of Kazakh ballet". Teachers of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography Nazira Abdulina and Anvara Sadykova won the Freedom Ballet award in the nomination "For training ballet masters and performers of the highest class", and "For the development and popularization of national dance". Among the awardees was a student of the Academy Bakhtiyar Adamzhan, leading soloist of the State Theater "Astana Opera", Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The laureate of the most prestigious international competitions won in the nomination "Zhogary oryndaushylyk sheberligi ushin". It should be noted that all laureates were awarded with honorary certificate of merit in the development of ballet and a cash prize.
