On March 28 the First International Scientific and Practical Conference “Folk Dance. Regional Features”, organized by the Ufa State Institute of Arts named after Zagir Ismagilov. The event was attended by prominent figures in the field of choreography and art history from Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Udmurtia and other regions of Russia.

The Kazakh National Academy of Choreography took part in the conference at the invitation of Olia Galeevna Vildanova, Honored Head of the Department of Choreographic Art of the Ufa Institute of Arts. The Academy held an online master class on “Basic movements of Kazakh dance”.

The master class was conducted by Anvara Aripovna Sadykova, senior lecturer of the Ballet Department. The class presented characteristic elements and frequently performed movements of traditional Kazakh female and male dance.
