On October 04, 2023, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of China National Petroleum Corporation (hereinafter - CNPC) Mr. Dai Houliang visited the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography (hereinafter - the Academy) with an official visit with the participation of Vice-Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Arman Adilkhanovich Zhudebayev.

The Academy was built in 2016 at the expense of CNPC's sponsorship funds together with JSC "National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna". Since the day of its foundation, CNPC has been providing continuous financial support in the organization of educational and creative activities of the Academy.

In the current 2023-2024 academic year, CNPC provided another financial support, allocating 26 million tenge to the Academy for the equipment of computer and language laboratory.

The Kazakh National Academy of Choreography contributes to the strengthening of friendly relations between Kazakhstan and the People's Republic of China.

During the period of its activity the Academy has established partnership and friendly relations and concluded agreements on cooperation and mutual understanding with the leading universities of the world choreographic community, among which the Beijing Academy of Dance occupies a special place. Within the framework of this cooperation, an exchange of teachers-choreographers between the Beijing Academy of Dance and the Academy was initiated.
